Job Description
- Participate with all sections of requirements in terms of cleanliness, wastage, and cost control.
- Communicate assistance needed during busy periods.
- Ensure that food preparation is completed in your section.
- Ensure the quality of the food items.
- Ensure the highest standards and consistent quality in the daily preparation and keep up to date with the new products, recipes, and preparation techniques.
- Follow and maintain cleanliness and good hygiene practices in the kitchen.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and responsibly.
- Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation checklist.
- Follow the cleaning schedules for the kitchen and clean the section and other areas as directed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment.
- Adhere to sanitation and hygiene standards to ensure a safe working environment.
- Follow all established kitchen policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
- Adhere to food quality and presentation standards set by the management
- Need to be flexible and willing to help other departments at busy times as and when required.
- To perform any other related task given by superior or management as and when required.
