Job Description

  • Responsible for managing the application for Malaysia Halal Certification (submit new application and renewal) for CK and outlets.
  • Responsible for managing and ensuring proper maintaining of the documentation and records regarding Halal (ingredient’s Halal certificate) and etc.
  • Verify documents and activities related to Halal certification.
  • Setting up Halal SOP and Halal manual and reviewing from time to time to ensure information is up to date.
  • Cooperate with QC personnel and Production Executive to inspect the condition of Production area, of its hygiene and enforce the Halal SOP on the cleanliness of production area.
  • Cooperate with QC personnel and Outlet Manager to inspect the condition of Outlets area, of its hygiene and enforce the Halal SOP on the cleanliness of Outlets area.
  • Cooperate with QC personnel, Production Executive and Outlet Manager in monitoring staff and ensure that they meet company requirements & standards in Halal food handling.
  • Key personnel in Halal Committee and its initiatives.
  • Establish Halal Assurance Systems (HAS) and Internal Halal Committee (IHC).
  • Lead in Halal internal and external audit.
  • Identify training needs, organize, and conduct training to meet Halal, quality, and safety standards.
  • Keep abreast of current Halal legislations, standards and guidance of documents required.
  • Monitor and drive appropriate actions and continuous improvement activities as assigned.
  • Review, investigate and troubleshoot any product concerns related to Halal and prepare proper report for management review.
  • Perform any other tasks as informed by superior/management.
