Job Description

  • Participate with all sections of requirements in terms of cleanliness, wastage, and cost control.
  • Communicate assistance needed during busy periods.
  • Ensure that food preparation is completed in your section.
  • Ensure the quality of the food items.
  • Ensure the highest standards and consistent quality in the daily preparation and keep up to date with the new products, recipes, and preparation techniques.
  • Follow and maintain cleanliness and good hygiene practices in the kitchen.
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and responsibly.
  • Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation checklist.
  • Follow the cleaning schedules for the kitchen and clean the section and other areas as directed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment.
  • Adhere to sanitation and hygiene standards to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Follow all established kitchen policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
  • Adhere to food quality and presentation standards set by the management
  • Need to be flexible and willing to help other departments at busy times as and when required.
  • To perform any other related task given by superior or management as and when required.
