Starting a restaurant business has been Aaron’s designated lifetime pursuance driven by his intense passion for culinary as he personally believes the ultimate approach to spread love is through the artistry of food-making.

The conception of Poke Bowl originated from Hawaii was introduced by an American friend, which he instantaneously took interest given that the ideology complimented his aspiration to popularise healthy living locally.

Before it all, Aaron traveled to Singapore with the primary objective to catch glimpse of its landscape and public receptivity towards this industry’s anatomy. Instead of franchising from our neighboring country, he remained steadfast in his preliminary goal that is to start an eatery radiating joy and happiness with the conviction of retaining the authenticity of Hawaii-style poke whilst embodying oriental Malaysian flavors to accommodate towards the local’s appetite.

From brainstorming unique fusion recipes from scratch in the comfort of his home’s kitchen to harnessing the stature as the pioneer of monopolizing the biggest poke chain mushrooming throughout Malaysia, Aaron has successfully leverage on public’s confidence and optimism towards The Fish Bowl as “The Poke Shop” since 2016.
